AATE ALGERIA :
Algerian Association of Teachers of English.
Our mission is to link, develop and support English Language Teaching professionals throughout Algeria.
About AATE:
The Algerian Association of Teachers of English AATE
brings together Algerian English teachers in conferences, training workshops, seminars, publishing newsletters, teaching documents, and materials to assist teachers in their career development.
Members of the association are not only teachers, but also retired teachers, students, teacher-training institutions and departments of English language in universities.
The Algerian Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language is educational, cultural and professional association of Algerian teachers of English in their various teaching levels middle, secondary and university, in public and private education, whether they are teachers of English, or they study English.
- The Association aims to create an atmosphere of communication and coordination between teachers and inspectors in developing curricula and methods of teaching English as a foreign language in order to progress in this field and discover the weaknesses, and challenges experienced when teaching this language.
- The association seeks to inform all those interested in this field about the latest innovations in teaching English via the Internet and social networking.
- The teaching of English language is witnessing a remarkable development throughout the world, and the use of modern technology has made it necessary to reconsider the curricula and teaching methods which still depend on the dumping of the learner’s mind by grammar rules. These methods are rejected among modern learners and teachers who want to invent modern ways and techniques.
- To achieve these goals we must make efforts as teachers, educational professors, researchers and inspectors to find ways and alternative frameworks.
- AATE seeks to organize special workshops and intensive classes, training sessions for teachers as well as students who have chosen the profession of teaching this language.
- In AATE we also seek to exchange experiences, opinions and communication between teachers in order to enrich the knowledge through regional meetings and national conferences we intend to organize.
